The team in Marketing and Communications provides consultation, services and tools to enhance and co-ordinate marketing and communication activities across the institution. We provide services and expertise in design, writing, editing, photography, web, media training, media relations and internal news coverage through the online UAlberta News and the staff/faculty newspaper, Folio. In addition, we provide institutional messaging and assist in message and content development for units or initiatives on campus, issues management, multimedia production and marketing or communications plan development.
The Marketing and Communications toolkit provides many tools at no cost to members of the university community. Design, photography and web development services are available on a fee-for-service basis. Consultation, planning, writing, editing, media relations and other PR or communications expertise are available at no cost.
